Meet your hosts
Malika & Patrick
We welcome you to this old renovated farmhouse. The cottage has been developed with the idea of independence in mind.
Dar means house in Arabic. We met in the Middle East, a region which struck us with its warm welcome, culture and heritage. This is the spirit that we wanted to convey in the place you would be staying.
Kayla makes several references. It is named after the family who originally resided here; Cayla. It is also the name of one of our current furry inhabitants, our dog. By chance, we had named before we found out the history of the farm.
Dar Kayla is therefore a nod to our history and that of the farm.
Helsinki & Kayla
Helsinki is shy, but it is quite possible that you will see a little ball of white fur in the garden walking around...
Kayla, our Australian Shepherd, is very sociable and gets along well with other dogs. She will be happy to welcome you!
